Earlier, reports indicated that Teefi Butt Lahore had been arrested abroad and brought back to Pakistan. Dunya News stated that he was handed over to Punjab Police following coordination with UAE authorities before being transferred to Lahore for interrogation.<\/p>\n
As per Samaa TV, Teefi Butt was a known criminal figure in Lahore, facing multiple cases involving murder, terrorism, and organized crime. Police records show he was declared a proclaimed offender in four major cases, including the Ameer Balaj Tipu murder case.<\/p>\n
He was reportedly part of the Lahore underworld network involving other figures like Gogi Butt Lahore, who was also declared wanted by law enforcement.<\/p>\n
According to The Express Tribune and Punjab Police reports, Ameer Balaj, son of Arif Ameer alias Tipu Truckanwala, was killed in February 2024 at a wedding event in Lahore\u2019s Chuhng area. The shooter, identified as Muzaffar Hussain, was killed on the spot.
The FIR filed by Balaj\u2019s brother named Teefi Butt and Gogi Butt Lahore as the prime suspects in the killing. Police investigations and a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) later held both accountable for orchestrating the murder.<\/p>\n
The CCD stated that the firing incident took place during the suspect\u2019s transfer from Rahim Yar Khan to Lahore.
